Handmade soap is a special product. It contains loads of natural glycerine, which is fantastic for your skin, but it also allows the soap to absorb and retain more moisture than commercial soap. We don't use artificial hardeners, but with a little care you can easily prolong the life of your soap.
To extend the life of your handmade soap simply keep it dry between each use by placing it on a free draining soap dish - do not leave it sitting in a pool of water as it will absorb the water and become soft.
Handmade soap is rather like a fine wine, the longer it cures the better it becomes, but, the fragrances used in handmade soap won't last forever. I recommend using your soap within 1 year of purchase.
Store any unused bars in a cool, dry place, out of direct contact with water/moisture.
Please note: Our soap is all cut by hand so there will be small variations in bar size.
